2010-2011 ECWCA Board Nominations

The ECWCA Board has two (2) positions open for the 2010-2011 year; both positions are for 3-year terms.

Board members may be writing center directors, professional staff members, or student staff members of writing centers. Each board member is expected to commit a significant amount of time to share in responsibilities.  For more details about the nomination procedure and Board members’ duties, see the Call for Nominations.  You may self-nominate or nominate someone else by completing the Nomination Form.  Since you need detailed information on candidates, you should collaborate with your nominee in completing the Nomination Form.

 

We’d love to have some dynamic writing center people join our efforts to encourage and support writing centers within the ECWCA region, so please consider submitting a nomination!  If you have any questions, feel free to contact a member of the Elections Committee or any ECWCA Board member.

Minutes

ECWCA board members meet every year at the annual conference. Additionally, in recent years, the board has begun to meet during the summer months and also online in an effort to increase the frequency of communication and efficiency of yearly work. The minutes of these meetings are posted below.
